Happy Saturday! Small homes with room to live — a garage turned into a 370-sq-ft home, two-bedroom small homes in the NC mountains, a 660-sq-ft farmhouse for a family of seven, and the real math on selling the big house.

🏡 Their Garage Became a 370-Sq-Ft Home
Becca and Anthony turned the old garage behind their 1925 Portland bungalow into a vaulted ADU, moved in, and now rent out the main house.

🛏️ Two Bedrooms in 713 Sq Ft
The Urban by Tiny Life Homes fits two bedrooms, a fireplace wall, and laundry hookups into one compact level — available now in Franklin, NC.

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 7 People, 660 Sq Ft
The Hursts designed their own 20×24 farmhouse on rural Tennessee land — kept small on purpose so they can add on with cash later.

🍾 A $50K Cordwood Home in the Ozarks
Jason quit his job at 50 and built with cedar rounds and glass bottles that glow when the sun hits them — no store-bought lumber.

🌳 A 900-Sq-Ft One-Level Backyard Home
BuildX's Whitman ADU has two bedrooms, cathedral ceilings, and no stairs — built for aging parents or downsizers moving into the backyard.

🦅 2 Beds, 2 Baths, 690 Sq Ft
The Eagle comes turnkey with its own lot at Peaceful Meadows, a gated small-home village in the North Carolina mountains.

📦 A 775-Sq-Ft Home That Arrived Folded
Greg's family home in rural Cyprus was shipped in a 40-foot container and unfolded on site — two baths and a covered veranda.

🧮 Selling the Big House: The Real Math
Your equity isn't your cash in hand. Here's what you actually walk away with when you sell to downsize.

"Small rooms or dwellings discipline the mind, large ones weaken it."
