Happy Thursday! Cabins in the woods. Four new ones this morning — CLT cabins beside Stołowe Mountains National Park, a CCC A-frame on Mt. Hood, a 107-sq-ft Adler in Ontario, and Unyoked’s first Forestry England cabins in Dalby Forest — plus three more among the trees.

🌲 Four CLT Cabins Beside the Park​
New today: Studzienno 27 is four cross-laminated timber cabins in the buffer of Stołowe Mountains National Park in southwestern Poland. Each one is 85 m² — about 915 square feet — with three bedrooms and two baths. Black wood outside, color on the details, private terraces, and big glass. Designed by Kuba Woźniczka of Kameleonlab; Madde Studio did the interiors.

🏔️ A CCC A-Frame on Mt. Hood​
Also new today: The Tilly Jane A-Frame is a 24-by-48 two-story cabin at 5,700 feet on Mt. Hood — one of the oldest structures up there, built by the Civilian Conservation Corps in the late 1930s. A ladder loft sleeps up to 20. Friends of Tilly Jane keep it on recreation.gov year-round. As of August 27, 2026, the recreation fee is $20 per person, per night.

🪵 A 107-Sq-Ft A-Frame on 40 Acres​
Also new today: Adler Cabin is 107 square feet at Fernwood Hills in Komoka, Ontario — a handbuilt A-frame-style cabin for two with a private deck, fire pit, and hammock. No indoor washroom; a fully plumbed washroom with a shower is a 3-minute walk up the lane. Family-run since 1966, on wood milled on-site.

🌳 Unyoked × Forestry England in Dalby Forest​
Also new today: The first Unyoked x Forestry England off-grid cabins are in Dalby Forest, North Yorkshire — each space purpose-built for two. Dark gabled cabins on log piers, decks in the leaves, and a 10-year collaboration with more forest locations coming through 2026.

🔥 She Built This Cabin From What Survived​
Kayla was 21 when she bought 25 acres in the Tasmanian wilderness. Eighteen months later a bushfire took her first home. What stands there now is a little off-grid cabin she made from salvaged materials for about AU$7–10k — and she’s been living in it nearly nine years with her dog Jemba.

A creek-side off-grid build, a father-daughter mountain cabin, a Catskills alpine that sleeps four in under 500 square feet, a forest-ready Bosun, a Wisconsin cottage with a stock-tank tub, and a dark Mississippi cabin — six different ways to sit among the trees.

🪟 An A-Frame on a Working Ranch Near Austin​
The Cabin at Spencer Ranch near Lockhart, Texas, is a steep A-frame with a wall of glass, a deck, an outdoor shower, and woods on every side. You can see straight through to the trees — sheltered and open at the same time.
